You build websites with Claude, ChatGPT or Lovable?

When you hand it over to the client, how do they make the edits?

We have a no-brainer for you: Edit by The Brainer. One line of code, and you give your client the keys. Chat edit or tap and type. Hosting stays with you, anywhere: Cloudflare, Netlify, Vercel, SiteGround, GoDaddy, your own box.

15 seconds: the owner changes the opening hours, swaps a photo, saves.

Six demo sites. Change anything. Nothing is saved.

Open one, tap Change something, and say "change the opening hours to 9 to 5", or tap any text and type, or swap a photo from your phone. Visitors of the real site never see the button; only people with the owner link do.

Founding builders

Take a founding place.

Site keys open the week of 21 September. Founding builders get theirs first. We email you once when it is ready and never for marketing.

If you build five or more sites a year for clients, we would also like fifteen minutes of your time to hear how your clients change things today. Optional.

Questions

Straight answers.

Why not build this myself with Claude?

You can build the click-to-edit part in an afternoon. What you do not want to run for twenty clients is the rest: owner links, image storage, version history, a chat edit with a model bill, write-back to each host, and the support phone. That is what €9 buys. The client library is open source, so you are never locked out of the part that touches your HTML.

Where does the site have to be hosted?

Anywhere. The tag works on any host. For sites in a git repository we commit the change and your normal deploy runs. We can also host the site for you.

Does the client need an account?

No. They get a private link. Opening it once stores a token in their browser. Up to five people per site, each revocable on its own.

Can the client break the layout?

Style changes come from a fixed whitelist and attach to the element they asked about. The editor cannot add or remove elements, cannot change your CSS files, and cannot run scripts. Undo is one tap.

Is it white label?

Your studio name goes on the panel. The owner sees "by Northwind Studio", not us.

Where are the docs?

Here, and in the README of the open-source client, written so a Claude Code or Lovable prompt can use it directly.
